Inspections
The Inspections Department is responsible for ensuring that construction and other projects adhere to establish codes and regulations.
The Town of Scott requires permits for: demolitions, new homes, additions, attached garages, accessory buildings (detached garages, sheds, etc.), remodeling, erosion control, signs, electrical service.
Building Permits:
The Town uses the "Wisconsin Uniform Building Permit Application" (UDC Permit Application) for all building permits. For permits that are not for a new home, please complete the portions of the form that are relevant to the project.
Building permits are required for certain projects such as demolition, new home buildings, additions, attached garages, accessory buildings (like detached garages, sheds, etc.), signs and remodeling.

Paying for a Permit:
Once the application has been accepted, payment is required. Payment is accepted in-person at Town Hall during office hours, by mail, or online. Project fees can be found on the fee schedule.
