NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
JANUARY 13, 2026 at 5:00 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Scott, Brown County, Wisconsin will conduct a Public Hearing at 5:00 P.M. on January 13, 2026 in the Town Hall, 2621 Jody Drive, New Franken WI 54229. The Hearing will be to gather public input concerning the creation/revision of the following ordinances:
Wellhead Protection Ordinance for the Town of Scott Code of Ordinance.
To create §370 Wellhead Protection Ordinance; to institute land use regulations and restrictions to protect the Town’s municipal well and water supply, and to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the Town. These regulations are established pursuant to the authority granted to towns by the Wisconsin Legislature in §§ 60.61(1), (2)(g), and 60.62, 62.23(7)(a) and (c), Wis. Stats., to adopt ordinances to protect groundwater.
Creating Establishing Split Shifts for election officials for the Town of Scott Code of Ordinance.
To create §105 Establishing Split Shifts for Election Officials Ordinance; authorizing two work shifts for election officials on Election Day and permitting the Board to appoint a greeter.
Responsible Unit Recycling Ordinance for the Town of Scott Code of Ordinance
To repeal and recreate §282 Solid Waste; to update certain requirements listed in state statutes and administrative codes regarding recycling.
