NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS

TOWN OF SCOTT, BROWN COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Scott, Brown County, Wisconsin, has been called by the Town Board pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.12 and will be held as follows:

Date: Tuesday, November 10, 2026

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: Town of Scott Town Hall (2621 Jody Drive, New Franken, WI 54229)

Purpose of the meeting. The electors will consider and vote upon the following questions:

Question A (Binding). Whether, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.10(2)(f), the electors authorize the Town Board to proceed with the construction of an addition to the New Franken Fire Department at an approximate cost of $6,600,00 with the share to be paid by the Town of Scott be 33 percent of the total cost, or $2,200,000?

Question B (Binding). Whether, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.10(2)(g), the electors authorize the Town Board to allow the New Franken Fire Department to utilize the land at 5055 E. Ronsman Rd owned 1/3 by the Town of Scott for the purpose of expanding the New Franken Fire Department and demolish/relocate the home located on the land based on the recommendation of the contractor?
