Two Community Meetings Remain Regarding the New Franken Fire Department Addition

NEW FRANKEN, WI — September 29, 2026 — Do you have questions about the proposed addition to the New Franken Fire Department? There are still two opportunities to learn more. 

The meetings are intended to help residents better understand the proposed project, learn more about the department’s needs, and hear information directly from fire department representatives.

The meetings will be held on:

• Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

All meetings will take place at:

New Franken Fire Department
5077 E. Ronsman Road
New Franken, WI 54229

Residents are encouraged to attend any of the three meetings, ask questions, and learn more about the proposed additions.

Special Town Elector Meeting

A Special Town Elector Meeting will be held for residents of the Town of Scott. At this meeting, qualified town electors will have the opportunity to vote yes or no on whether to authorize the construction of an addition.

Please stay informed by following Town news and notices and by watching for official postings at Town Hall. The Town will provide notice of the meeting and vote at least 15 days in advance on townofscott.com and at the three designated public posting locations.

Possible Town Board Quorum

Please also be advised that it is possible that members of the Town of Scott Town Board may attend these meetings, which could result in a majority of quorum of  the Town Board. The will constitute a meeting of the Town Board for purposes of discussion and information gathering relative to the events.
