Wequiock Creek Flood Study Meeting October 8, 2026, at 5 p.m.
The Town of Scott will be holding an informational meeting on Thursday, October 8th, 2026 at 5:00 pm at the Town Hall (2621 Jody Drive) to present the findings of the Wequiock Creek Flood Study. The meeting will be for presentation purposes and for the public to ask questions.
The flood study area is approximately 2 miles long; beginning at the STH 54/57 interchange and ending at the Wequiock Creek crossing of Van Lanen Road. Property owners within the flood study boundaries or adjacent to them were notified directly by mail.
Possible Town Board Quorum
Please also be advised that it is possible that members of the Town of Scott Town Board may attend these meetings, which could result in a majority of quorum of the Town Board. This will be for the purposes of discussion and information gathering. Nothing will be voted on at this meeting.
